Mercedes Lackey and Andre Norton had planned four books for the Halfblood Chronicles, but the fourth book was never completed  due to Andre Norton's death.

Fans of the series have waited anxiously for the fourth book and now the wait is over! Mercedes Lackey has teamed up with Ben Olander to complete this magnificent series,

Caezik SF and Fantasy (an imprint of Arc Manor) is publishing the complete set, including the fourth and final book in the series, Elvenbred, both as trade paperbacks and as eBooks.

Mercedes Lackey has also decided to revise the original three books, which will also be illustrated, as will the final fourth book.
